Programs Offered
Residential programs are taught on the ETS Hosur Campus and are open to both male and female applicants.
Includes basic, intermediate, and advanced studies in Greek and Hebrew. Focus options: Old Testament, New Testament, Theological, or Pastoral Studies.

Fees (2026–2027)
All amounts are in Indian Rupees (₹). Refundable deposits are returned at the end of your program.
Library and caution deposits are refundable.
Total tuition depends on your program's credit hours (70–126 hrs).

Eligibility & Requirements
All five eligibility requirements below must be met to apply. You must also submit the required documents listed in this section.
- 1Faith CommitmentYou must have had a conversion ("born again") experience and be willing to declare it, along with a clear conviction about pursuing theological education.
- 2Academic BackgroundYou must have completed Class X, Class XII (10+2) or a three-year diploma (10+3), and a three-year undergraduate degree from a recognized university or bible college.
- 3Single Theology DegreeIf your only degree is a bachelor's in theology (non-ATA), it will be evaluated per ATA guidelines and you will be instructed accordingly.
- 4Age RequirementYou must be at least 21 years old by July 1 of the year you enrol.
- 5Open to AllApplications are accepted from both male and female candidates for all degree programs.
Required Documents
Attach clear photocopies of all documents with your application. Originals must be presented at the Registrar's Office on arrival. Provisional certificates are not accepted. Non-English documents must be translated and notarized.
- Recent passport-size photograph
- Aadhaar card copy or Passport copy
- Class X Mark Sheet and Pass Certificate
- Class XII Mark Sheet and Pass Certificate
- Undergraduate Degree Certificate and Mark Sheet
- Graduate / postgraduate certificates and mark sheets (if applicable)
- Letter of recommendation from your local church — on church letterhead, with signatures, email addresses, and phone numbers of all church leaders
- Personal testimony covering your born-again experience, church life, and call to Christian ministry
- Financial guarantee letter signed by your sponsor or supporting individual
- Financial assurance form signed by you
- Contact details for your references (name, mobile, email, relationship) — entered on the application form so we can email them an online reference link
- Conduct certificate from your employer (if currently employed) or from your seminary (if recently graduated or awaiting graduation) — must include a valid phone number, mailing address, and email
- Fitness certificate
- Marriage certificate (if applicable)
References
Provide contact details for your references on the application form. After you submit, ETS will email each reference a private link to complete an online reference form. You do not need to upload PDF reference forms.

Residential
Entrance Exam
The exam covers Bible Knowledge, Christian Theology, and English Language Proficiency (Listening, Reading, and Writing).
Exam Information
Once the application has been submitted and all documents are approved by the Registrar, you will be able to register for the Qualifying exam. An interview is conducted on the same day as the exam.
Qualifying Exam
Candidates who hold only one non-ATA bachelor's degree in theology will sit an additional Qualifying Exam immediately after the entrance exam. This is arranged separately from the entrance exam itself.
Interview
The entrance exam is followed by an interview on the same day. Please plan your travel arrangements accordingly.
